Woewot*

Johann Gottlieb Woewot, a craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 8 September 1766. He and his family are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 14.

The 1767 census records that Johann Gottlieb Woewot came from the German village of Osterode in the region of Prussia. His wife, Anna Maria, is recorded there as coming from the city of Danzig.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Johannes Christoph Login, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 8 September 1766. He and his wife Maria Elisabeth are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Christoph Login came from the German village of Insterburg in the region of Prussia. The 1767 census records that his wife, Maria Elisabeth, came from the village of Recklingen in the region of Hannover.

Kosnitz

Albertus Kosnitz, a craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 8 September 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 12.

In 1783, Albert Kosnitz moved from Schulz to Mariental.

The 1767 census records that Albertus Kosnitz came from the Austrian village of Strakonitz. The 1767 census also records that his wife Margaretha came from the German region of the Kurpfalz.

Fries (Schulz)

Orphan Ludwig Fries settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11 along with the Johann Christoph Pietsch family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Fries and Pietsch families.

Pietsch (Schulz)

Johann Christoph Pietsch, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 8 September 1766. He and his wife are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11 along with orphan Ludwig Fries. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Pietsch and Fries families.

The 1767 census records that Johann Christoph Pietsch came from the German village of Recklingen in the Hannover region.

Brenner (Schulz)

Heinrich Brenner, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 8 September 1766. He and his wife Maria Eva are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 10.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Brenner came from the German region of Reval. It also records that his wife Maria Eva came from the German region of Kurpfalz.

Abel (Schulz)

Johann Georg Abel, a craftsman (Handwerker), his [2nd] wife Elisabeth, and daughter Friederike settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 8 September 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 9 [surname erroneously recorded as Gabel].
