Heinrich Brenning was born in approximately 1792, probably in France. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Yagodnaya Polyana.
He is recorded on the 1834 Census of Yagodnaya Polyana in Household No. 123. He is still living as of 1857, recorded on the 1857 Census of Yagodnaya Polyana in Household No. 188.
Karl Pick (sometimes Bick) was born in approximately 1792 in Allenbach.
He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians.
In 1814, he was settled in the Volga German colony of Yagodnaya Polyana.
Milovidov records that as of 1814, Karl Pick's father, mother, two brothers, and three sisters were still living in Allenbach.
He is recorded on the 1834 Census of Yagodnaya Polyana in Household No. 157. He does not appear on the 1857 Census of Yagodnaya Polyana, so must have died before 1850.
Christian von Feldt was born in approximately 1786 in Leuven, Belgium.
He served as a soldier in the 5th French Uhlan Regiment of Napoleon's Army. He fought against and was captured by the Russians.
In 1814, he was settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental.
Milovidov records that as of 1814, three brothers and a sister were still living in Leuven.
Christian von Feldt is recorded on the 1834 census of Mariental in Household No. 226 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Herzog in 1818.
Joseph Arnold was born in approximately 1787, probably in France. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians.
He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim. He is recorded there on the 1850 Census of Rosenheim in Household No. 93 as having died in 1840.
Milovidov records that Joseph Arnold came from the village of Tirlemont in Brabant [Belgium].
Stephan van Arkel was born in approximately 1786 in Rotterdam in Holland.
He served as a soldier in the 4th Artillery Battalion of Napoleon's Army. He fought against and was captured by the Russians.
Milovidov records that as of 1814 he had no surviving relatives in Rotterdam.
In 1814, he was settled in the Volga German colony of Anton. However, he is recorded on the 1834 census of Straub in Household No. 87. The 1834 census also records that he died in 1816, apparently without heirs.
Johann Daniel Altag from Barksen married on 3 November 1774 in Kleinenbremen to Anna Catharina Elisabet Monkhaff.
Among the baptisms of the children born to Johann Daniel Altag & Anna Catharina Elisabet Monkhaff recorded in the parish register of Kleinenbremen are: (1) Friedrich Christian, born 13 June 1786, baptized 17 June 1786; and (2) Carl Heinrich, born 1 May 1791, baptized 8 May 1791.
Both Friedrich & Karl were soldiers in the Napoleonic army that invaded Russia. Friedrich, a musketeer, was captured by the Russians.

Martin Matz was born in approximately 1788 in France.
He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt. His first wife was Dorothea Karolina Houbre (Ubert) and his second wife was Dorothea Weltz. He died in Katharinenstadt on 9 September 1854.
Johann Conrad Schlegel, son of Johannes and Anna Catharina Schelgel, was baptized in Wolferborn on 16 May 1728. He married Elisabeth Wagener, daughter of Johann Heinrich Wagener, on 12 February 1754 in Wolferborn. The baptisms of four of their children are recorded in the Wolferborn parish register: (1) Johannes, 25 February 1754; (2) Hermann, 23 June 1757; (3) Nicolaus, 9 March 1760; and (4) Johann Jobst, 18 February 1763.
