Stertzer

Johann Stertzer & Dorothea Inhoff were married on 28 May 1765 in Roßlau. They are believed to be the couple who settled in the Volga German colony of Louis.

Johann Stürtzer and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Louis on 14 June 1766. Johann Stürtzer, a farmer, his [new] wife Eva, son Michael (age 1), and stepson Mattias Neuf (age 12) are recorded on the 1767 census of Louis in Household No. 34.

In 1788, Johann Stertzer and his family moved from Louis to Mariental.

Gutsche

Nikolaus Gutsche (age 7), son of the deceased Peter Gutsche, is recorded on the 1798 census of Louis in Household No. 39.

Zaper

Johann Zaper, a farmer, and his wife Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 15 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 72.

The 1767 census records that Johann Zaper came from the German village of Külsheim in the Bamberg region.

Spehrlein

In 1790, Johannes Spehrlein moved from Neu-Kolonie to Seelmann.

Johannes Spehrlein from Leitsinger and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Seelmann in Household No. Sm04.

The death in 1828 of Johannes Spehrlein is recorded on the 1834 census of Seelmann in Household No. 80.

Johannes Spehrlein, son of Johannes Spehrlein, and his family are recorded on the 1850 census of Seelmann in Household No. 50.

Johannes Spehrlein and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Seelmann in Household No. 64.

Sommer (Leitsinger)

Widow Margaretha Sommer and her son Johannes (age 1)  are recorded on the 1767 census of Leitsinger in Household No. 80. They had settled there on 15 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Margaretha Sommer came from the German village of Echenbrunn in the Bamberg region.
