Texter*

Gottfried Dexter [sic] arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 21 September 1766.

Gottfried Textor [sic] are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Widower Johann Gottfried Texter, a miller (Müller), is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 77 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Biberstein in 1768.

In 1771, Christian Texter and his wife moved from Boisroux to Biberstein.

In 1777, Gottfried Texter and his family left Biberstein.

Weinberg (Biberstein)*

Two Weinberg sister migrated to Russia.

Anna Eleonora Dourothea Margaretha Weinberg & Johann Friedrich Friederichsen were married on 1 June 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Johann Friedrichsen, his wife Anna, and wife's sister Anna (age 15) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Arn(h)old (Boisroux)

Peter Arnhold, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, and son Georg (age 4) are recorded on the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 41. They had settled there on 7 June 1767.

Jakob Arnold, believed to be the son of Georg, is recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Household No. Bt09.

The 1767 census records that Peter Arnhold came from the German region of Dessau.

Arndt (Boisroux)*

In 1787, widow Elisabeth Arndt moved from Boisroux to Schwed with Georg Faust, her son by her first husband.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Arndt family among the Volga German colonies.

Arnst (Boisroux)*

Christoph Arnst, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Boisroux on 3 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 81 along with 5 stepchildren with the surname Lieder (Johann Detlof, age 18; Karl, age 15; Sophia, age 10; Karl Ludwig, age 8; Joachim, age 5).

The 1767 census records that Christoph Arnst came from the German village of Gonna in the Mecklenburg region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Arnst family among the Volga German colonies.

Müller (Cäsarsfeld)

Johann Müller, a farmer, his wife Selna, and sons (Sebrant [sic], age 12; Kornelius, age 11) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
