Simon (Dietel-2)

Johann Conrad Simon, son of Jacob Simon & Eva Böhm, was born 29 February 1720 in Ramholz. Maria Katharina Buch, daughter of Johann Felix Georg Buch & Drusiana Elisabeth Schäfer, was born on 28 June 1717 in Merxheim.

Johann Conrad Simon married Maria Catharina Buch on 17 September 1743 in the Lutheran Church of Merxheim, located 56 kilometers southwest of Mainz.

Schwar(t)z (Biberstein)

Johann Caspar Schwarz was born 21 September 1726 in Ruttershausen, north of Giessen. He married across the river in Staufenberg on 22 February 1752 to Anna Maria Heibertshausen. She had been baptized there on 23 September 1731. They had three children: (1) Maria Margretha, born 13 June 1753; (2) Johann Heinrich, born 8 October 1755; and (3) Johann Ludwig, born 17 August 1757.

Schwan(n)

Johann Wendel Schwann, son of Caspar Schwann & Ottilia Vogler, was born in Schriesheim on 8 August 1739.

He immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein), arriving in Fridericia on 2 November 1759. He married in Fredericia on 14 April 1760 to Anna Barbara Zahn. They were settled in Havredal colony.

The parish register of Frederica [Denmark] records on 14 April 1760 the marriage of Wendel Schwann of Schriesheim to Anna Barbara Zahm [sic].

Schwabenland

Valentin Schwabenland, born in about 1743, married Maria Angela Orschied on 6 May 1764 in the Evangelical Church of Kriegsfeld, a German village located 17 kilometers southwest of Alzey in what today is the state of Rheinland-Pfalz. Their son, Johann Daniel, was born 4 February 1765 in Kriegsfeld.

Schwabauer

Johannes Schwobauer, son of Johann Jacob Schwobauer & Anna Maria Numrich, was born 6 June 1717 in Haßloch. He married Christina Margaretha Eissenmayer on 6 September 1740 in Haßloch, southwest of Mannheim.

The baptisms of several of their children have been located in the parish register of Haßloch: (1) Johann Jacob, baptized 15 September 1741; (2) Johann Christoph, baptized 12 May 1745; (3) Philipp Jacob, baptized 18 October 1747; (4) Anna Catharina, baptized 3 August 1749); (5) Sophia, born 1 January 1754; and (6) Kilian, baptized 15 February 1761.

Schul(t)z (Dönhof)

Johann Peter Schultz, son of Hanß Peter & Regina Margaretha Schultz, was born on 24 October 1739 in Kleingartach.

He, his unnamed wife, and two children, immigrated first to Schleswig-Holstein (Denmark) arriving in Flensburg on 19 June 1762.

On 12 January 1765, they immigrated to Russia, arriving in the colony of Dönhof on 21 July 1766 where he is recorded on the 1767 Census in Household No. 31.

Schultheis (Huck)

Sebastian Schultheis, son of Johann Heinrich & Gertrude Schultheis, was born in May 1701 in Huttersroth. He was baptized on 25 May 1701 in nearby Unterreichenbach. He married Anna Katharina Volz who had been baptized in Unterreichenbach on 12 April 1709. They had seven children:

Schuh

Heinrich Schuh was born in 1724 in the Jagst district of Baden-Württemberg. He married Maria Christina Göltenbodt [also spelled Goldenboth] on 5 December 1752 in the Ohrnberg Evangelical Church of Ohrnberg. Maria Christina, daughter of Georg Michael & Margaretha Anna Katharina Göltenbodt, was born on 25 December 1722 and baptized on 27 December 1722 in Ohrnberg.

Their son, Melchior Christian, was born & baptized on 2 April 1754 in Ohrnberg.

Schreiner (Kraft)

Georg Heinrich Schreiner, son of Johannes Schreiner & Anna Elisabeth Ruppel, was baptized on 20 April 1747 in Engelrod, southwest of Lauterbach.

Johann Georg [sic] Schreiner, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov. Other families from Engelrod were also aboard this ship.

Johann Heinrich [sic] Schreiner settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767, and is recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 14 along with his new wife [Anna] Barbara [Schmidt].

Schreiber (Norka)

Johann Conrad Schreiber, a soldier (Soldat) and son of Johannes Schreiber & Anna Gertrude Lapp, was born 29 November 1715 in Ronshausen. He married there on 8 February 1742 to Anna Margaretha Roth, daughter of Georg Roth & Magdalena Tochter. She had been born in 1710 in Großensee.
