Hoffmann (Leichtling)

Johannes Hoffmann, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 22.

Peter Hoffmann from Leichtling and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Marienfeld.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Hoffmann came from the German village of Neustadt in the region of Mainz.

Jonas (Leichtling)

Peter Jonas, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth Richter arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 24.

The 1767 census records that Peter Jonas came from the German village of Seligenstadt in the region of Mainz.

Klehr (Leichtling)

Heinrich Klehr, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 45.

In 1788, Peter Klehr moved from Leichtling to Kamenka.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Klehr came from the German region of Fulda.

Keil (Leichtling)

Nikolaus Keil, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4.

The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Keil came from the German region of Alzey.

Muffert

Nikolaus Muffert, a tailor (Schneider), and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 42.

In 1792, Peter Muffert moved from Leichtling to Kamenka.

The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Muffert is from the German village of Seligenstadt in the region of Mainz.

Müller (Leichtling)

Johann Georg Müller, a farmer, and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

[Johann] Georg Müller, a farmer, his [new] wife Anna Margaretha Franz, and son Johann Paul (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Leichtling in Household No. 12. They had settled in Leichtling on 14 June 1767.

Johann Adam Müller, presumed son of Johann Georg Müller, and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Leichtling in Household No. Lg07.

Rack (Leichtling)

Johannes Rack, son of Nicolaus Rack, married in Horbach on 14 February 1751 to Margaretha Kessler, daughter of Johannes Kessler. The civil registration of their marriage is recorded in Somborn on 19 January 1751.

Säger*

Heinrich Säger, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 2. Another probable daughter, Katharina Säger, is recorded in Household No. 48.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Säger came from the German village of Garmer in the region of Mainz.

Mahler (Leichtling)

Franz Müller [sic] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.

Franz Mehler [sic] and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Leichtling in Household No. Lg01.

Georg & Friedrich Mehler, sons of Franz Mehler, and their families are recorded on the 1834 census of Leichtling in Households No. 78 & 14, respectively.

Rothbrust

Jacob Rothbrust & Maria Eliesab. [sic] Schotter were married on 11 March 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Jakob Rothbrust, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.

The 1767 census records that Jakob Rothbrust came from the German village of Seligenstadt in the region of Mainz.
