Stür(t)z (Kutter-1)

According to the Wolferborn parish records, Johann Heinrich Stürz, son of Heinrich Stürz of Michelau, and Anna Margareatha, daughter of Nicolaus Geiß, married on 9 October 1743. The baptisms of four children are found in the Wolferborn records: (1) Johann Ernst, 18 December 1743 (died 7 February 1744); (2) Conrad, 7 February 1745; (3) Johann Adam, 27 August 1747; and (4) Johann Ernst, 5 July 1753.

Jung (Leitsinger-1)

Wilhelm Jung, a farmer, his wife Marianna, and children (Johann, age 19; Philippina, age 18) arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 12 May 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 11.

Following the destruction of Leitsinger, the Wilhelm Jung family resettled in the colony of Neu-Kolonie where they are recorded on the 1798 Census in Households No. Nk04 and Nk25.

Jung (Leitsinger-2)*

Adam Friedrich Jung, a baker (Bäcker), and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Vergelte Weintraube under the command of Skipper Anderson.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 2.

The 1767 census records that Adam Friedrich Jung came from the German village of Kotzgrimm in the Kurmainz region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Jung family among the Volga German colonies.

Kämmerer (Leichtling)

Bartholomæ Kämmerer & Catharina Lang were married on 11 March 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Bartel Kämmerer, his wife Katharina, and his brother Peter arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 May 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Households No. 16 & 17.

In 1788, Philipp Kämmerer moved from Leichtling to Volmer.

In 1789, Bartel Kämmerer moved from Leichtling to Kamenka.

Beichert*

Anton Beichert, a farmer, and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 38.

The widow of Anton Beichert and his son Johannes are recorded on the 1798 census of Leichtling in Household No. Lg38.

The death of Johannes Beichard [sic] in 1818 is recorded on the 1834 census of Leichtling in Household No. 93.

Bauer (Leichtling)

Michael Bauer, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 14.

Michael Bauer, his brother Melchior, and their families from Leichtling are recorded on the 1857 census of Marienfeld.

The 1767 census records that Michael Bauer came from the German village of Aschaffenburg.

Antonius

Johannes Antonius, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28.

In 1795, Nikolaus Antonius moved from Leichtling to Beauregard. In 1796, Peter Antonius moved from Leichtling to Mariental.

The 1767 census records that Valentin Falk came from the German village of Seligenstadt in the region of Mainz.

Haller (Leichtling)

Johannes Galler [sic] & Margretha [sic] Mahler were married on 9 March 1766 in the Lutheran Church in Büdingen.

Johannes Haller, a farmer, and his wife Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 37.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Haller came from the German village of Seligenstadt in the region of Mainz.

Göttig (Leichtling)

Ignatius Göttig, a farmer, and his wife Franziska arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Catharina Eleonora under the command of skipper Peter Roeder.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Ignatius Göttig came from the German region of Regensburg while the 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Rinow.
