Sennlein

Georg Sennlein, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766.

Georg Sehnlein [sic], his wife Margretha, and sons (Johan Michel, age 5; Johann, age 2) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that both sons died en route.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 19 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.

Schwar(t)z (Leitsinger)

Johann [Georg] Schwarz, a farmer, his wife Barbara, and son Jakob (age 10½) arrived from Reval at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Lopamink under the command of Lieutenant Kryukov. Sebastian Schwarz, a farmer, and his wife Anna were also aboard this ship.

Sebastian Schwarz (age 23), a farmer, his wife Margaretha (age 24), stepson [perhaps rather a brother of Margaretha] Johann Adam [surname not recorded] (age 11), and father Georg (age 48) are recorded on the 1767 census of Leitsinger. They had settled there on 12 May 1767.

Schuster (Leitsinger)*

Georg Schuster, a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and children (Adam, age 25; Kunigunda, age 22; Michael, age 18; Georg, age 16; Christoph, age 12; Agness, age 8; Hans, age 3; Anna Katharina, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766.

Georg Schuster and his children (Adam, age 24; Cunigunda, age 22; Michael, age 18; Georg, age 16; Christoph, age 12, died en route; Hans Georg, age 10; Agneseas, age 8, died en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Schielein*

Johann Schielein, a farmer, his wife Barbara, and daughter Johanna (age 1/8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766.

Johann Schillein [sic] and his wife Barbara are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 15 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 51.

The 1767 census records that Johann Schielein came from the German village of Teuschnitz in the district of Bamberg.

Strobel*

Johann Strohbett [sic], a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and son Johann (age 9) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766.

Johann Strobel, his wife Margretha, and son Johann (age 10) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Trun*

Nikolaus Trun, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 May 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 12 May 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 14.

The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Trun came from the German village of Wilsberg in the Lothringen region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
