Gette / Götte (Kamenka)

Johann Götte arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the Danzig galliot Die Hoffnung under the command of Skipper Johann Heschke.  He settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka and is recorded there along with his new wife on the 1767 census in Household No. 66.

By the time of the 1798 census, Johann Götte is living in the colony of Husaren (Hn32).

Nowak (Kamenka)

Paul Nowak and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the Danzig galliot Die Hoffnung under the command of Johann Heschke. They settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 1 March 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 61.

In 1792, Johann Nowak moved from Kamenka to Pfeifer.

Krieger / Krüger (Norka)

Conrad Krüger & Catharina Schmidt from Queckborn were married on 11 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen. [See Schmidt Family.]

Konrad Krüger, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Anna Maria (age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the comand of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

Konrad Krüger, a farmer, and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 163. They had settled there on 15 August 1767.

Kern (Norka)

Heinrich Kern, a farmer, and his family (including his sister-in-law) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg. 

They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 146.

Johann Heinrich Kern, his wife Kunigunda, and children (Johann Adam, age 24; Katharina Elisabeth, age 20) are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 20.

Heiser / Heuser (Norka)

Johann Heuser, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767, although none of the children appear to have survived since only Johannes and his wife Katharina Elisabeth are recorded in Norka on the 1767 census in Household No. 155.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johann Heuser came from the German district of Hessen.

Har(d)t (Norka)

Johann Georg Hart married on 20 March 1727 in Wolf to Anna Margaretha Helferich who was also from Wolf.

The baptism of the following children of Johann Georg Hart & Anna Margaretha Helferich are recorded in the parish register of Wolf: (1) Adrian Hart, baptized 23 July 1730; and (2) Anna Catharina, baptized 21 February 1743.

Adrian Hart married on 12 November 1758 in Wolf to Anna Maria Jacobi, daughter of Conrad Jacobi & Anna Barbara Weinmuth from Dudenrod. Anna Maria Jacobi had been baptized in Wolf on 9 March 1733.

Hamburger

Johann Hamburger arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin. 

He settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8 along with his new bride and mother-in-law.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Hamburger is a tailor while the 1767 census records that he is a craftsman (Handwerker). Both of these documents record that he came from the German district of Isenburg.

Frank (Norka)*

Conrad Frank married Gertruda Moller, daughter of the deceased Lorentz Moller.

The following children born to Conrad Frank and Gertruda Moller were born in Mauswinkel: (1) Magdalena, born 1726; (2) Johann, born 1727; (3) Julianna, born 1730; (4) Heinrich, born 1733; (5) Conrad, born 5 November 1735, baptized 6 November 1735; and (6) Anna Maria, born 1741.

Johann Conrad Franck [sic] from Mauswinckel [sic] & Eliesabetha [sic] Lir from Bindsachsen were married in the Lutheran Church in Büdingen on 10 April 1766.

Fink (Norka)

Johann Ludwig Finck [sic], a farmer from the area of Hessen-Darmstadt, & Anna Catharina Gobel, from the county of Büdingen, were married on 21 May 1766 in Pastor Peterssen's house in Lübeck. The marriage is recorded in the parish register of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Johann Ludwig Fink, a farmer, and his wife Katharina Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.

Eisel / Eusel (Norka)

There are 2 Eisel families that settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) Johannes Eusel from Friedewald married on 4 April 1762 in Ronshausen to Anna Christina Becker, daughter of Anton Bäcker from Ronshausen [see Bäcker family].

They have two children born in Ronshausen: (1) Joachim, baptized 23 August 1762; and (2) Anna Elisabeth, baptized 4 April 1765.
