Bachmann (Norka)

Johann Heinrich Bachmann, son of Johann Andreas Bachmann & Anna Cunigunda Deisenroth, was born 27 May 1734 in Unterhaun.

The births of two daughters born to Christoph Kehl & Anna Maria Reinmöller are recorded in the baptismal register of Unterhaun: (1) Christina Elisabeth Kehl, born 30 November 1737; and (2) Anna Martha, born 9 May 1748.

Johann Heinrich Bachmann & Christina Elisabeth Kehl were married on 3 February 1764 in Unterhaun.

Bach (Norka)*

Adam Bach, a farmer, his wife Anna, son Israel (age 5), and his mother Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Kronverk under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Ilyin.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 2 September 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 197.

The 1767 census records that Adam Bach came from the German district of Isenburg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Bach family among the Volga German colonies.

Aschenbrenner (Norka)

The parish register of Eckartshausen records the marriage of Johannes Aschenbrenner from Eckartshausen & Friederica Elisabetha Schön from Himbach on 9 June 1763.

The parish register of Eckartshausen records the birth of a daughter to Johannes Aschenbrenner & Friederica Elisabetha Schön: Catharina Elisabetha Aschenbrenner, born 19 December 1764 in Himbach.

Johannes Aschenbrenner and his wife Friedrika Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.

Ansbach

Eberhard Ansbach, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife, Katharina, settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 2 September 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 207. 

The 1767 census records that Eberhard Ansbach came from the German district of Isenburg.

Becht(h)old(t) (Norka)

Sebastian Bechtold, son of Sebastian Bechtold, married on 25 November 1733 to Anna Maria Lissman, daughter of Johann Georg Lissman.  Among their many children, all born in Fischborn, is Johann Georg Bechtold who was baptized on 3 March 1742.

Johann Georg Bechthold, a single carpenter, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev. 

Breitenstein (Norka)*

Johann Heinrich Breitenstein and his wife arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 September 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 121 along with the 13-year-old son of the deceased Heinrich Gedde.

Brehm (Norka)

Johann Heinrich Brehm and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 September 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 are are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 133. 

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Heinrich is a farmer while the 1767 census records that he is a soldier. Both document record that he came from the German district of Hessen.

Bott (Norka)

Peter Bott, a farmer, his wife Maria Elisabeth, and children (Peter, age 5; Johann Adam, age 2½; Anna Eva; age 4-weeks) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 September 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 132.

In 1789, Johann Peter Bott moved from Norka to Beideck. His widow and children are recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Bd53.

Köhler (Norka-3)

Peter Köhler, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Johann[es], age 12; Anna Maria, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev.

Peter Keller, his wife, Anna Margaretha, and children (Johannes, age 14; Anna Maria, age 8) are recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 113. They had settled there on 15 August 1767.

Peter Köhler and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr205.

Imhoff (Norka)*

Simon Imhoff, a single tailor, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev. He settled in the Volga German colony of Huck on 1 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8 along with his new wife Margaretha.

Widower Simon Imhoff is recorded on the appendix to the 1775 census of Huck in Household No. 3.
