Schiel (Bettinger)

Bernhard Schiel is recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Household No. Bt38 along with a note that he is working in Schaffhausen.

His sons are recorded on the 1834 census of Bettinger in Household No. 13.

Schäfer (Bettinger)*

Christoph Schäfer, his wife Barbara Bauer, stepson (by his first wife) Andreas Kalkopf, and his stepson's family are recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Household No. Bt36.

There are no known surviving male lines from this Schäfer family among the Volga German colonies.

Reisner (Bettinger)*

Paul Rieszner [sic] & Christiana Margaretha Best were married on 12 June 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Paul Reissner [sic], a farmer, and his wife Christina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Paul Reissner and his wife Catharina are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Paul Reisner and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Household No. Bt24.

Musch*

Immanuel Mesche [sic] and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 21 September 1766.

Emanuel Musche [sic] and his wife Maria are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Emmanuel Musch [sic], a miller (Müller), and his wife Dorothea are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 36.

In 1786, Immanuel Musch moved from Basel to Bettinger.

Hille

Widow Johanna Regina Hille and her children are recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Household No. Bt37.
