Moch

Johannes & Adam Moch, presumed to be brothers, from Meinhard and their families are recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Households No. Bt26 & Bt31.

Bleibtreu*

Kasimir Bleibtreu and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kutter in Household No. Kt51.

Johannes Bleibtreu and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kutter in Household No. 43 & the 1857 census of Kutter in Household No. 57 - without male heirs.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Bauer (Kutter)

Heinrich Bauer married Anna Christina Bopp, daughter of Casar Bopp & Anna Elisabeth Loth. Anna Christina Bopp had been born 20 October 1748 in Vonhausen. [See Popp Family in Messer.]

This Bauer family also came from Vonhausen. The oldest son of Heinrich Bauer & Anna Christina Popp was Michael who had been born in Vonhausen.

Heinrich Bauer, his wife Christina, and children (Michael, Andreas, and Barbara) are recorded on the 1775 census of Kutter.

Schneider (Hockerberg-1)*

Johann Henrich Schneider and his wife Maria Magdalena née Jung arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the galliott Anna Catharina with Johann Joachim Janson as skipper.

They were travelling with their nieces Anna Elisabetha Haas and her sister Anna Maria, daughters of Johann Peter Haas & Anna Margaretha Schneider (both of whom had died in 1760). Anna Margaretha Schneider is the sister of Johann Heinrich Schneider.

Blehm, Eric

Eric Blehm is a award-winning author with titles on the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists. He is the author of Fearless: The Undaunted Courage and Ultimate Sacrifice of Navy SEAL Team Six Operator Adam Brown and The Only Thing Worth Dying For, which recounts the story of the first Special Forces A-team to infiltrate Taliban-held southern Afghanistan weeks after 9/11.

Mattias Angermann and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Fischer in household No. Fs01.
