Döhlinger

Stephan Döhlinger, a mason (Maurer), and his wife Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt on 23 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 155.

The 1767 census records that Stephan Döhlinger came from the German village of Herbsthausen.

de Rarotier

Nikolaus de Rarotier, a perfume maker (Parfümerie), his wife Anna, and her daughters (Anna Maria Cronaguis, age 18; Louisa Cronaguis, age 15) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 27. They had settled there on 27 August 1766.

The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Derarotier came from the French region of Champagne.

Dennewitz*

Christoph Dennewitz, a carpenter (Zimmermann), and his wife Eleonora settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt on 17 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 165.

The 1767 census records that Christoph Dennewitz came from the German village of Barg.

Christoph Dennewitz and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Paulskaya in Household No. Pl54.

There do not appear to be any surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Delsop*

Franz Delsop and his wife Concordia arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Franz Nikolaus Schröder.

Frantz Delsop and his wife Conradin [sic] are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Conradin [sic] died en route.

Cronaguis*

Anna Maria Cronaguis (age 18) and her sister Louisa (age 15) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 27 along with their mother Anna and stepfather Nikolaus Derarotier.

The 1767 census does not record from where the Cronaguis family came.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Crety*

Jean Crety, a weaver (Weber), his wife Maria Wiedeberg, and son Johann Franz (age 1-week) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 67. They had settled there on 27 August 1766.

The 1767 census records that Jean Crety came from the French town of Rennes and that his wife Maria Wiedeberg had come from the Danish town of Christinen [?].

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Krepin

Peter Kreipen [sic], a farmer, his wife Maria, and children (Maria, age 23; August, age 21; Franz, age 18; Johann, age 13; Peter, age 11; Franziscus, age 9; Andreas, age 5; Maria Franziska, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair. Most of this family appears to have died shortly after arrival in Russia.

Augustin Krepin, a single farmer, is recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 219.
