Müller (Kutter-3)*

Georg Friedrich Müller, a single farmer, is recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 32 along with Katharina Müller (age 17½) and her brother Christoph Müller (age 13), children of the deceased Jakob Müller. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between these two Müller families.

The 1767 census records that Georg Friedrich Müller came from the German region of Isenburg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Georg Friedrich Müller among the Volga German colonies.

Krumm (Kutter)

Johann [Jost] Krumm arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg as a servant of Christoph Brenning.

Johann Jost Krumm (age 18) is recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 1 along with a note that he is working as a day-laborer for Christoph Brenning.

Jost Krumm and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kutter in Household No. Kt23.

Krämer (Kutter)*

Johann[es] Krämer, his wife Anna Barbara, and daughters (Marianna, age 17½; Margaretha, age 12, Elisabeth, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Kutter on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4.

Johannes Krämer, the illegitimate son of Margaretha Bechthold, is recorded on the 1798 census of Kutter in Household No. Kt66 along with a note that he is working in the colony of Balzer.

Trau(d)t (Krasnoyar)*

Johann Peter Traudt, his wife Elisabeth, and daughter Anna Margaretha (age 6½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev. They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 29.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Peter Traudt was a miller from the German region of Isenburg. The 1767 census records that he was a farmer from the German village of Birstein in the Isenburg region.

Jörg (Kutter)*

Georg Jörg, a farmer, and his wife Justina are recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 13. They had settled there on 8 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Georg Jörg came from the German region of Würzburg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Horch

Johann Horch, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and son Johannes (age 14) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 49. They had settled there on 29 July 1767.

Johannes Horch and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. St24.

Descendants of this family are recorded on the 1834 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Households No. 9, 31, 63, 103, 116.

There are several Horches recorded on the 1798 census of Warenburg who are believed to be descended from this Johannes Horch.

Hergert (Kutter)*

Orphan Elisabeth Regina Hergert, daughter of the deceased Peter Hergert, is recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 51 along with the Konrad Weigandt family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Hergert and Weigandt families.

The 1767 census does not record from where Elisabeth Regina Hergert came.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this Hergert family among the Volga German colonies.

Herdt (Kutter)

Katharina [Margaretha] Herdt, widow of a farmer, and her sons (Johann[es], age 17½; [Johann] Heinrich, age 12) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Kutter on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Katharina Margaretha Herdt came from the German region of Isenburg.

Hein(t)z (Kutter)

Andreas Heinz, a baker, his wife Anna, and children (Friedrich; Judith, age 17; Eberhard, age 16; Johannes, age 9; Regina, age 8; Barbara, age 7; Anna, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Fyodor Fyodorov.

[a] Friedrich Heintz, a farmer, his wife Anna Maria, and siblings (Eva, age 18; [b] Eberhard, age 15; Regina, age 13; Johannes, age 9; Anna Barbara, age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 54. They had arrived in Kutter on 29 July 1767.

Gelhorn

August Gelhorn, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Anna Maria are recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 78. They had settled there on 16 August 1767.

In 1788, August Gelhorn and his family moved from Kutter to Straub.

August Gelhorn, his sons (Johann Philipp & Friedrich Ernst), and son-in-law Adam Ulrich are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 47 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Neu-Straub [year not recorded].
