Schunk (Kratzke)*

Johann Jakob Schunk (age 12), son of the deceased Johann Jakob Schunk, is recorded on the 1767 census of Kratzke in Household No. 36 along with his stepfather Johann Philipp Gross.

The 1767 census records that Johann Jakob Schunk came from the region of Alsace.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Schunk family among the Volga German colonies.

Schakin*

Johann Heinrich Schakin, a mason (Maurer), and his wife Katharina Brigitte settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 7 August 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 12.

The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Schakin came from the German village of Ulm.

Rowetter*

Johann Georg Rowetter and his wife Anna Rebekka settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 41.

The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Rowetter came from the German village of Nortorf in the Holstein region.

Raque

Heinrich Raque (age 41), a baker (Bäcker), his wife Anna Eva Eberl (age 36), and daughters (Catharina, age 18; Anna Eva, age 15; Anna Elisabetha, age 11; Anna Margaretha, age 8; Sara, age 5; Maria Elisabeth, age 3) are recorded on a list of colonists dated 23 September 1765 who were gathering in the town of Worms. They had arrived in Worms on 2 September 1765.

Rausendan*

Friedrich Wilhelm Rausendan, a leather worker (Lederarbeiter), and his wife Maria Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 8 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 39.

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Wilhelm Rausendan came from the German village of Nordhausen.

Naft (Kratzke)*

Maria Margaretha Naft, widow of Christian Naft, settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 7 August 1766. She is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13 along with a note that she is working as a day-laborer in Saratov.

The 1767 census records that Maria Margaretha Naft came from the Danish village of Segeberg.

Mohr (Kratzke)*

Johann Mohr and his wife Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 8 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 46.

The 1767 census records that Johann Moor came from the French village of Auxerre [?].

Maljawski*

Michael Maljawski, a single tailor (Schneider), settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 7 August 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 30 along with a note that he is working as a day-laborer.

The 1767 census records that Michael Maljawski came from the German village of Elben [Elbing?] in Prussia.
