Lissberg*

Johann Heinrich Lissberg (age 47), a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha Seip (age 41), and children (Johann Sebastian, age 11; Regina Catharina, age 9; Johannes, age 6; Johann Georg, age 2) are recorded on a list of colonists dated 23 September 1765 who were gathering in the town of Worms. They had arrived in Worms on 27 August 1765.

Johann Heinrich Lissberg, his wife [new] Dorothea Elisabeth, and sons (Jakob, age 1; Johann Heinrich, age 3-weeks) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kratzke in Household No. 42. They had settled there on 8 May 1767.

Jäger (Kratzke)

Heinrich Jäger, a weaver, and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Der Junge Mattias under the command of Skipper Johann Gottfried Selander.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke.

In 1792, widow Maria Gertrude Jäger and her son moved from Kratzke to Frank where she married Johann Georg Frank.

Johann Georg Frank, his wife [widow or Heinrich Jäger], and stepson Johann Jäger are recorded on the 1798 census of Frank in Household No. Fk121.

Hauf

Samuel Gottlieb Hauf, a single weaver (Weber), settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 8 May 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 49 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Merkel in 1768.

The death of Samuel Hauf in 1832 is recorded on the 1834 census of Merkel in Household No. 48.

In 1827, Johann Martin Hauf moved from Merkel to Kratzke. Johann Martin Hauf from Merkel is recorded on the 1834 census of Kratzke in Household No. 50.

Frick (Kratzke)*

Widower Daniel Gottfried Frick, a wine distiller (Weinbrenner), settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 7 August 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 29.

The 1767 census records that Daniel Gottfried Frick came from the German region of Anhalt-Zerbst.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Frick family among the Volga German colonies.

Fres*

Friedrich Fres, a single weaver (Weber), settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 7 August 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28.

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Fres came from the German region of Hamburg.

There are no known surviving male descendant lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Wieser (Krasnoyar-2)*

Konrad Wieser, a farmer, and his wife Maria Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 86.

The 1767 census records that Konrad Wieser came from the German village of Laubach.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Wieser family among the Volga German colonies.

Wieser (Krasnoyar-1)*

Ludwig Wieser, a farmer, and his wife Christina settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 75.

The 1767 census records that Ludwig Wieser came from the German village of Friedberg in the Darmstadt region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Wieser family among the Volga German colonies.

Werner (Krasnoyar)

Johann Georg Werner, a farmer, his wife Anna Katharina, and sons (Johann David, age 7; Philipp Karl, age 1½) settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 51.

The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Werner came from the German region of Darmstadt.
