Bret(t)hauer

Killian Bretthauer, son of Johannes Bretthauer, was baptized 22 April 1732 in Sterbfritz.

Killian married in Sterbfritz on 17 May 1757 to Anna Barbara Johann, daughter of Adam Johann.

After they arrived in Russia, they settled in the Volga German colony of Walter on 25 August 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 Census in Household No. 3.  They are recorded on the 1798 Census in Walter in Household No. Wt057.

Simon (Krasnoyar)

Johannes Simon, a single man, immigrated to Russia from the German village of Steinau.

He arrived at the port in Oranienbaum from Lübeck on 8 August 1766 aboard a pink under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 where he and his new wife are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 39.

The family is recorded on the 1798 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. Ks043.

Schnarr (Nieder-Monjou)

Philipp Schnarr, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Eleonora (age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Philip Schnarr, his wife Cathar. Elisabetha, and daughters (Helena, age 5¼; Anna Catharina, born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that daughter Helena died en route.

Schnitzer

Johannes Schnitzer, a single farmer, immigrated to Russa from the German village of Steinau.

Joh. Schnitzer (als deserteur angenommen) [accepted as a deserter] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Nieder-Monjou on 3 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 49 in the appendix.

His widow an children are recorded in Nieder-Monjou on the 1798 Census in Household No. Nm48.

Rosenberger

Johan Adam Rosenberger, a farmer from the area of Hanau, & Anna Margar. Büttner from Engen Switzerland, were married on 20 August 1766 in Pastor Bruns's house in Lübeck. The marriage is recorded in the parish register of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Johann Adam Rosenberg[er], a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived at the port of Oranienbaum from Lübeck on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of skipper Franz Nicolaus Schroeder.

Maus (Nieder-Monjou)

Daniel Maus, his wife Anna, and stepdaughters (Anna Elisabeth, age 15; Anna Margaretha, age 7) [surname not recorded] immigrated to Russia from the German village of Niederzell.

They arrived at the port of Oranienbaum from Lübeck on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love and Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Daniel Mauss [sic], his wife Elisabet, and children (Anna, age 12; Margaretha, age 6; Georg, born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Mut(h) (Meinhard)

The marriage of Johannes Muth & Catharina Krass is recorded in the parish register of the Lutheran Church in Büdingen, but a line is drawn through the entry indicating that this marriage probably did not occur.

Johannes Mut[h] is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 77.

Johannes Muth and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of  Meinhard in Household No. Mn17.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Mut[h] came from the German village of Neuengronau.
