Dittmeier

Johann Dittmeier, a farmer, his wife Ursula, and son Adam (age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 52.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johann Joseph Dittmeier came from the German region of Würzburg.

Dittenber (Kukkus)

Georg Dittenbier [sic], a farmer, his wife Magdalena, and children (Jakob, age 10; Maria, age 7) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.

Son Jakob Dittenberger [sic] (age 10¼) and his sister Anna Margaretha [sic] (age 9) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Dross

Johannes Dross, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Mathias under the command of Skipper David Wollert.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Dönhof on 18 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 70.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johannes Dross came from the German region of Darmstadt.

Dreiling (Herzog)

Franz Dreiling, a farmer, his wife Barbara, and son Johannes (age 2) are recorded on the 1767 census of Louis in Household No. 42. They had arrived in Louis on 14 June 1766.

In 1798, Johannes Dreiling from Louis is recorded in Herzog living in Household No. Hr11.  Also, in 1798, Michael Dreiling from Herzog is recorded in Rohleder in Household No. Rl13.

The 1767 census records that Franz Dreiling came from the German village of Karlstadt in the region of Würzburg.

Dreher (Mariental)*

Margaretha Dreher, widow of an unnamed craftsman (Handwerker), and her son Franz Jakob [surname believed to be Heronema] settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental on 15 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 83.

The 1767 census records that Margaretha Dreher came from Luxembourg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Dreher family among the Volga German colonies.

Dozert*

Andreas Dotzert [sic] & Anna Margaretha Traut, both from Stockhausen in the area of Riedesel, were married on 14 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Andreas Dozert, his wife Anna, and his mother-in-law Anna Maria Bär arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Mathias under the command of Skipper David Wollert.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 20 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 86.

Trausch

Nikolaus Trausch, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and sons (Nikolaus, age 6; Mattias, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Adler under the Skipper Paul Adam Drath.

Nicolaus Traust [sic], his wife Elisabeth, and sons (Nicolaus, age 6; Matthias, age 2¼) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Nicolaus and son Matthias died enroute.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander.

Trallmann*

David Trallmann immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein). He settled on the farmstead of "Frisch auf" in the Danish colony of Prinzenmoor. 1764.

The parish register of Hohn [Schleswig] records on 8 January 1765 the death of Anna Tralman [sic], daughter of David & Anna Catharina Tralman [sic].

They are last recorded among the Danish colonies on 22 November 1765.

David Trallmann and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 June 1766 aboard the ship named Der Junge Heinrich under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann.
