Ach(t)ziger

Gottfried Achtziger, a blacksmith, his wife Christina, and son Johann Christian (age 6) from Danzig at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 May 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Jacob Janson.

This family has not been located on the 1767 census, but they may have originally settled in Hussenbach [for which a copy of the 1767 census has not been located] as several other families on this ship are recorded in Hussenbach.

Gottfried Achtzig[er] and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kolb in Household No. Ko05.

Württemberger (Kolb)

Franz Württemberger, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Friedrich, age 7; Anna, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Franz Württemberger, a farmer, his wife Anna Magdalena, and daughter Anna Katharina (age 3) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kolb in Household No. 6. They had arrived in Kolb on 13 May 1767.

The 1767 census records that Franz Württemberger came from the German village of Oberdarmstadt [Ober-Ramstadt?] in the Hessen-Darmstadt region.

Wen(t)z (Kolb)*

Philipp Jakob Wenz, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Kolb on 13 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28 along with a note that he moved to the colony of Walter in 1768. The following Household (No. 29) on the 1767 census of Kolb records a Nikolaus Wenz (age 17).

Walter (Kolb)

Adam Walter, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Johann[es], age 22; [Johann] Heinrich, age 18; Konrad, age 14; Adam, age 6; Elisabeth, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Thiel (Kolb)

There are 3 Thiel families that arrive together from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson. They settled in the Volga German colony of Kolb on 13 May 1767. There relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) Johannes Thiel, a farmer, and his wife Anna Margaretha are recorded in Kolb on the 1767 census in Household No. 16.

Johannes and his family are recorded on the 1798 census in Household No. Ko03.

Tege (Kolb)*

Franz Tege and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Franz and a new wife Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Kolb on 13 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 24 along with a note that they are missing (verschollen).

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Franz Tege was a physician while the 1767 census records that He was a soldier (Soldat).

Schreiner (Kolb / Kratzke)

Johann Jacob Schreiner, son of Johann Friedr. Schreiner & Maria Johanna Stauch, was baptized on 11 May 1766 in St. Peter Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Friedrich Schreiner, a farmer, his wife [Joh]Anna, and children (Friedrich, age 20; Heinrich, age 16; Konrad, age 10½; Jakob, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.
