Dippel (Yagodnaya Polyana)

Konrad Dippel, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Conradt Dippe [sic] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Walter on 16 September 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 30 along with his new wife Anna Elisabeth.

Beutel (Yagodnaya Polyana)

Three Beutel brothers (Conrad, Johann Heinrich, and Johannes), sons of Conrad Beutel, and their families settled in the Volga German colony of Yagodnaya Polyana on 16 September 1767. Georg Kromm's research that was published in 1912 records that the Beutel family came from the German village of Wallernhausen.

Sparwasser

Johann Sparwasser, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Vergelte Weintraube under the command of Skipper Anderson.

It appears that only two daughters survived to settle in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767.  Katharina Maragaretha (age 13) is recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 14 along with her sister, Anna Margaretha (age 22), who is married to Johann Simsen.

Reimer (Warenburg)

Johann Samuel Rheim [sic] from Electoral Saxony & Margaretha Elisabethe Jopp from Wildsachsen in the are of Darmstadt were married on 26 March 1766 in the City Lutheran Church of Friedberg.

Samuel Reimer, a porcelain maker (Porzellanmeister), and his wife Margaretha Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Vergelte Weintraube under the command of Skipper Anderson.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 70.

Böhmersheim*

Johann Heinrich Böhmersheim [sic], a weaver, his wife Anna Sophia, and children (Johann Georg, age 20; Katharina Margaretha, age 18; Christina Margaretha, age 10; Johann Philipp, age 6½; Johann Heinrich, age 3) and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Vergelte Weintraube under the command of Skipper Anderson.

Volk (Walter)

The parish records of Lengfeld (which include Ober Klingen and Nieder Klingen) record that Johann Nicolaus Volk, a widower, married Anna Catharina Lohnes, daughter of Johann Heinrich Lohnes, on 18 November 1755. Johann Nicolaus and Anna Catharina had a son Johann Peter who was born 30 December 1756.

The death of Magdalena Barbara Volck [sic], 5-year-old daughter of Joh. Nicolaus Volck from Ober Klingen in the Churpfalz [sic] region, is recorded on 14 May 1766 in the parish register of the Lutheran Church in Büdingen.

Strauch (Walter)

Johann Heinrich Strauch, a single painter (Kunstmaler), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Fyodor Fyodorov.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Walter on 25 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28 along with his new wife Katharina.

The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Strauch came from the city of Leipzig in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).
