Reichert (Dietel)

Widow Dorothea Fink and her son Johann Philipp Reichert arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Grapp.

Dorothe. Fink and her son Johan [Reichert] are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Schilleref(f)

Michael Heinrich Schillereff, a farmer, his wife Sibilla, and daughters (Maria, age 8; Anna, age ¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Heinrich Schillereff, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife, Christina, settled in the Volga German colony of Kolb on 13 May 1767.  They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Schillereff came from the German village of Duderstadt in Sachsen (Saxony).

Rutz (Dönhof-3)

Johann Nikolaus Rutz (age 52) from the region of Hessen-Darmstadt arrived in Flensburg, Denmark [Schleswig-Holstein], on 19 June 1762 along with his [2nd?] wife Sophia Eleonora (age 28) and children (Johann Wendell, age 14; Ludewig, age 4; Catharina, age 2).

The marriage of Johann Nicolai Rutz, believed to be the son of Johann Nikolaus Rutz (above), and Catharina Kohmer [Gomer] is recorded on the parish register of Grossenwiehe (Schleswig) on 14 November 1762. [See Gomer Family.]

Rutz (Dönhof-2)

Johann Georg Rutz, a farmer, his wife Anna Eva, and daughter Katharina Elisabeth (age 1½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Dönhof in Household No. 97. They had settled in Dönhof on 18 June 1767.

Widower Georg Rutz and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Dönhof in Household No. Dh102.

The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Rutz came from the German region of Darmstadt.

Anschütz (Nieder-Monjou)

Johann Heinrich Anschütz, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Christian, age 16; Philipp, age 10; Konrad, age 8; Anna, age 4; Kathairna, age ¾) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Catharina under the command of Skipper Johann Joachim Janson.

Johann Heinr. Anschütz, his wife Anna Elisabeth, and children (Johann Christian, age 16; Philip, age 10¼; Conrad, age 8; Anna Elisabeth, age 5; Catrina Elisabeth, age 1) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Anfang*

Two Anfang families arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Schröder. Their relationship to each other is not recorded. They settled in the Volga German colony of Wittmann.

(1) Johann Adam Anfang and his wife Maria are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Maria died en route.

Schmidt (Nieder-Monjou-1)*

Johann Schmidt, a farmer, and his wife, Anna, settled in the Volga German colony of Nieder-Monjou on 7 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 39.

The 1767 census records that Johann Schmidt came from the German area of Hannover.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Schmidt family among the Volga German colonies.

Schmidt (Nieder-Monjou-5)

Just Schmidt, a farmer, his wife Maria, and children (Peter, age 11; Johanna, age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 45. They had settled there on 3 August 1767.

Johann Just Schmidt and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. Nm46.

The 1767 census records that Just Schmidt came from the German village of Biskirchen near Braunfels.

Schmidt (Nieder-Monjou-4)

Johann Schmidt, a weaver his wife Maria, and children (Peter, age 11; Ludwig, age 7; Johannes, age ¾) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Joh. Jost Schmied [sic], his wife Maria Elisabetha, and sons (Joh. Peter, age 11; Ludwig, age 7; Johannes, age 1) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
