Markert

Michael Markert and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 93.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Michael Markert was a weaver from the German region of Sachsen (Saxony). The 1767 census records that he was a farmer from the German village of Ostheim near Eisenach in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).

Lehr (Krasnoyar)

Johannes Lehr & Margaretha Joss were married on 18 March 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Johann[es] Konrad Lehr, a farmer, and his wife Anna [Margaretha] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 62.

In 1776, Johannes Lehr left Krasnoyar.

Künzler / Künstler (Krasnoyar)

Eberhard Künzler [sic], a farmer, and his wife Maria Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 82.

The 1767 census records that Eberhard Künzler [sic] came from the German region of Laubach.

The 1798 census records this surname as Kanzler. Later census documents record this surname as Künstler.

Krieger (Krasnoyar)

Johann Adam Krüger & Anna Cathar. Asmus were married on 16 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Adam Krieger, a farmer, his wife [Anna] Katharina Asmus, and father-in-law Kaspar Asmus arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

Adam Krieger, a farmer, and his wife Anna Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 100.

Kreder (Krasnoyar)

Karl Kreder, a glazier (Glaser), and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 60.

Zacharias Kreder, presumed son of Karl Kreder, and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. Ks062.

The death of Zacharias Kreder in 1821 is recorded on the 1834 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. 56.

The 1767 census records that Karl Kreder came from the German village of Aue in the Baden-Durlach region.

Kopp (Krasnoyar)

Christian Kopp, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 92 along with his new wife Elisabeth.

Kühn (Krasnoyar)

Johannes Kühn, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 5; Johann, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 88.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johannes Kühn came from the German region of Laubach.
