Gross (Schwab)

Peter Will from Höchst in the area of Wetterau and widow Gertude Ross [should be Gross] from Schwickertshausen married on 3 May 1766 in Büdingen.

[Johann] Peter Will, his wife Gertrude, [her] children (Johann, age 16; Georg, age 15; Ludwig, age 11; Johann, age 6 [all surname Gross]), and his wife's sister Anna, age 48 [surname not recorded] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.

Schwab (Kraft)

Johannes Schwab, son of Martin Schwab, was baptized 13 February 1714 in Wallernhausen.

Johannes Schwab married in Fauerbach on 4 December 1739 to Adelheit Plock, daughter of Conrad Plock.

Johannes and Adelheit had several children in Fauerbach including: (1) Heinrich Peter, baptized 3 January 1742; and (2) Anna Margaretha, baptized 4 June 1747.  

Daughter Margaretha Schwab married Michael Bott at the Reformed Church in Lübeck on 2 July 1766.

Imhof (Krasnoyar)*

Gertrude Imhof, sister of Anna Christine Imhof who had been born 2 December 1719 in Partenstein, arrived from Lübeck along with her sister and brother-in-law Michael Steigerwald at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper John Scott.

She settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 40.

Since her sister was born in Partenstein, Gertrude is assumed to have been born there as well, although this needs to be confirmed.

Meier (Krasnoyar-2)

Peter Meier, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Anna Elisabeth, age 9; Philipp, age 7; Johann Konrad, age 4; Kaspar, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.

They settled inthe Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 99.

Rau (Krasnoyar)*

Christian Rau, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda under the commandof Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 where Christian Rau is recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 25 along with his new wife Julianna [widow of Nikolaus Schröder] and her son Johann Konrad [Schröder] (age 5).

Steinbecher*

Widow Anna Margaretha Steinbecher and her daughter Anna Katharina (age 5½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.

Orphan Katharina Steinbecher, daughter of the deceased Anna Margaretha Steinbecher, is recorded on the 1767 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. 24 along with the Johann Klaus Hahn family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Steinbecher and Hahn families.

Schneider (Krasnoyar-2)*

[Johannes] Immanuel Schneider and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Immanuel Schneider was a stonemason from the German region of Laubach. The 1767 census records that he was a farmer from the German region of Laubach.

Schröder (Krasnoyar)

Nikolaus Schröder, a farmer, his wife Julianna, and children (Anna, age 24?; Margaretha, age 6; Konrad, age 3; Johann, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar where Julianna is recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 25 as the wife of Christian Rau. Son Johann Konrad Schröder (age 5) is also recorded there.
