Lerch (Schulz)

According to the parish register in Hirzenhain, Johann Sebastian Lerch, son of Johannes Lerch, married on 28 August 1739 to  Maria Dorothea Schleuning, daughter of Johann Heinrich Schleuning.

Gross (Schulz)

Philipp Johann Groß (born 14 July 1704; died 7 November 1746) married on 17 February 1735 in Hirzenhain to Maria Catharina Brauer, daughter of Nicolaus Brauer (died 6 August 1723) & Anna Elisabetha Groß.

The births of the following children (born in nearby Steinberg) are recorded in the parish register of Hirzenhain: (1) Johann Jacob, born 26 March 1739, baptized 27 March 1739; (2) Johannes, born 16 August 1742, baptized 19 August 1742; and (3) Johann Peter, born 6 February 1746, baptized 8 February 1746.

Fleischer (Schulz)*

Heinrich Fleischer, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Mathias under the command of Skipper David Wollert.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 15 June 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Fleischer was a cobbler while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.

The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Fleischer came from the German village of Lindenberg in the Stolberg region.

Fleck (Warenburg)

Carl Hinrich [sic] Fleck & Eva Dorothea Moneck were married on 16 June 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Karl Heinrich Fleck, a miller (Müller), and his wife Eva Dorothea arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Der Engel Rafael under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted.

Carl Heinrich Fleck and his wife Eva Dorothea are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Flach / Flack (Straub)*

Friedrich Flach, a miller, his wife Anna, and his brother Philipp (age 21) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 June 1766 aboard the ship named Der Junge Heinrich under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann.

Philipp settled in the Volga German colony of Straub on 12 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 41 along with his new wife, Anna Margaretha.

The 1767 census records that Philipp Flach came from the German village of Snenkiries? near Greifenstein.

Fischer (Pfeifer)*

Johann Michael Fischer, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Michael Fischer came from the German region of Würzburg while the 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Franken (Frankonia).

Fischer (Ober-Monjou)

Kaspar Fischer, a farmer, his family, and his brother-in-law Anton Rupp arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Caspar Fischer and his wife Maria Margaretha along with Anton Rupp are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Ober-Monjou on 3 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 77.
