Fischer (Keller-2)*

August Fischer, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the hooker Anna Catharina under the Skipper Adolph Scharpenberg.

August died after arrival in Russia.  The remaining members of the family settled in the Volga German colony of Keller on 12 May 1767 and 11 August 1767. Sons Nikolaus and Kaspar are recorded on the 1767 census of Keller in Household No. 16.

Son Johann Heinrich and his new wife are recorded on the 1767 census of Keller in Household No. 56.

Avelius*

Wilhelm Schultze [sic] & Maria Magdalena Avelius from Büdingen were married on 15 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Wilhelm Schulz, his wife Magdalena, and his mother-in-law Philippina [sic] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Mathias under the command of Skipper David Wollert.

Widow Margaretha Filius [sic] is recorded on the 1767 census of Dobrinka in Household No. 87 along with her son-in-law Wilhelm Schulz and his wife Magdalena.

Fichtel*

Heinrich Fichtel, his wife Ursula, and son Georg (age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Die Wachsamkeit under the command of Skipper Jacob Heinrich Sager.

Heinrich Fichtel, his wife Ursula, and son Johann Georg (age 11) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Heinrich Fichtel, his [new] wife Barbara, and son Georg (age 11) settled in the Volga German colony of Hölzel on 11 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13.

Feller (Krasnoyar)

Jakob Feller, a farmer, his wife Anna Maria, and children (Anna Katharina, age 19; Mattias, age 16; Johann, age 13) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Jakob Feller came from the German region of Darmstadt.

Felsing

There are two Felsing families that immigrated to Russia. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) Johann Jacob Völzing, son of Heinrich Völzing & Anna Christina Jost, was born in Kestrich and baptized on 4 November 1719 in Groß-Felda. Johann Jacob Felsing married in Kestrich on 25 November 1751 to Anna Elisabeth Scharmann, daughter of Johann Georg Scharmann. Anna Elisabeth Scharmann had been born in 1727 in Köddingen.

Felde (Krasnoyar)

On 6 May 1749 Johann Caspar Velde, a shepherd from Blofeld, married Anna Juliana Wolff in Dauernheim. She was born on 25 October 1725 in Dauernheim. They have four children who were born and baptized in Dauernheim: (1) Johann Peter, born 31 January 1750; (2) Johann Conrad, born 5 July 1751; (3) Andreas, born 20 December 1752, died before 1766; and (4) Johann Heinrich, born 20 December 1754.

Peil (Schwab)

The surname of this family appears in various forms: Beil, Feil, & Peil.

Nikolaus Feil [sic], a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.

Nikolaus Feil [sic], his wife Elisabeth, and son Johann Georg (age ½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schwab in Household No. 18. They had settled in Schwab on 8 July 1767.

Feil (Kukkus)

Christian Feil, a joiner, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Kukkus on 26 June 1767.  Christian died there on 14 November 1767. His widow Maria Margaretha and son Christian (age 13) are recorded in Kukkus on the 1767 census in Household No. 48.
