Johannes Engelbert, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Johann [Dietrich], age 20; Anna, age 18; Gertrude, age 13; Franz, age 10) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 June 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Der Jäger under the command of Skipper Gabriel Will.
Valentin Engel, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Der Engel Rafael under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Laub on 19 August 1767. Valentin died and his widow and children are recorded in Laub on the 1767 census in Household No. 63.
The 1767 census records that widow Anna Katharina Engel came from the German village of Kirsbach in the Kurpfalz region.
Johann Heinrich Emmerling, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Messer on 14 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 92.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Stahl am Tarlyk on 13 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.

Johann Friedrich Elenberger [sic], a single hunter (Jäger), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Vergelte Weintraube under the command of Skipper Anderson.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Dinkel on 12 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 55 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Bangert in 1768.
