Eckardt (Laub)

Three Eckardt children (Valentin, age 17; Karl, age 16; and Anna Magdalena, age 12) arrived with their mother and stepfather, Nikolaus Sasse, from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Der Engel Rafael under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Laub on 15 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 46.

In 1788, Karl Eckardt and his family moved from Laub to Lauwe.

Eck (Kraft)

Johann Eck, a weaver (Weber), and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census records that Johann Eck came from Denmark.

Ebers (Keller)

Bartholomäus Ebers, a farmer, his wife Anna, and his sister Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the hooker Anna Catharina under the Skipper Adolph Scharpenberg.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Keller on 12 May 1767. Bartel and his new wife Katharina are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 22.

The 1767 census records that Bartel Ebers came from the German village of Kottenheim near Bassenheim.

Eberling (Urbach)

Johann Gottfried Eberling and his family (including stepson Balthasar Hannemann) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig Mercurius under the command of Skipper Christian Heinrich Abelßen.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Urbach on 13 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11.

In 1775, Gottfried Eberling "escaped" Urbach.

Eberlein (Laub)

Michael Eberlein, his wife Katharina, and daughters (Maria, age 8; Christina, age 6; Barbara, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 June 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Der Jäger under the command of Skipper Gabriel Will.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Laub on 12 July 1767. Michael Eberlein, a farmer, his [new] wife Anna Appolonia [widow of Adam Demler], daughters (Sophia, age 10; Christina, age 8), and stepson Johann Peter [Demler] (age 7) are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6.

Duxberg

Kaspar Duxberg, a weaver (Leineweber), his wife Anna, and children (Maria, age 4; Johann, age ¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Caspar Duxberg and his wife Anna are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Anna died en route.

Dumrauf

Pankratius Dumrauf, son of Pankratius & Elisabetha Dumraus of Pausdorf, married on 16 April 1714 in St. Kilian Catholic Church in Scheßlitz to Barbara Reinhardt, daughter of Conrad & Kunigunda Reinhardt. Among their children is Johann Conrad Dumrauf who was baptized 25 June 1721 in St. Kilian Catholic Church in Scheßlitz.

Catharina Rudel, daughter of Peter & Anna Rudel from Ludwag, was baptized 14 February 1723 in St. Kilian Catholic Church in Scheßlitz.

Huber (Bangert-2)*

Egidius Huber, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.

Anna died during the transport of Lieutenant Dunkler. He remarried to Katharina, the widow of Johann Gerhardt, and they settled in the Volga German colony of Bangert on 26 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27 along with Katharina's son Johannes Gerhardt.
