Schleuning (Boisroux)

August Schleuning, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

August Schleunig, his wife Anna Barbara, and children (Anna Margaretha, age 10½; Joh. Caspar, age 8) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Ehrhardt, Raphael

Father Raphael Ehrhardt ws born in the Volga German colony of Volmer.

He studied theology at the Catholic Seminary in Saratov and was ordained on 22 February 1904.

He served the congregation in the colony of Mariental from 1904 to 1905.

His fate is unknown.

Eberhardt, Alexander

Not much is known about Father Alexander Eberhardt.  He studied theology at the Catholic Seminary in Saratov and was ordained on 28 October 1901.

He served the congregation in the Volga German colony of Schönchen in around 1909-1910.

His fate is unknown.

Dietrich, Raphael

Father Raphael Dietrich was born in 1894 in the colony of Speyer (Kherson Province).

He studied theology at the Catholic Seminary in Saratov and was ordained in 1918.

He was first assigned to the parish in Saratov and then to the congregation in Preuss where he served from 1922 until he was arrested in 1930 during the round-up of Catholic priests that took place then. It is also reported that he was active in the parish in Hölzel from 1929-1932.

His fate is unknown.

Dittler, Eduard

Father Eduard Dittler was born in 1875 in the Volga German colony of Hildmann.

He studied theology at the Catholic Seminary in Saratov and was ordained on 2 November 1897.

He served as the acting parish priest in the colony of Louis from 15 November 1897 to 1902. He became the permanent priest serving the congregation in Louis on 18 February 1902 and served until 1914.  In 1914, he became the priest to the congregation in Seelmann.

Stuber, Johann Jakob

Pastor Johann Jakob Stuber, son of Georg Jakob Stuber & Margarethe Rommel, was born 6 August 1839 in Oxenbach, Württemberg (Germany).  He died 26 June 1906 in the Volga German colony of Brunnental.

He was married first to Maria Barbara Schrenk (born 27 January 1839, Hofingen, Württemberg; died 8 January 1879, Elenendorf, Elizavetpol Province). He remarried on 31 August 1879 to Katharina Weller (born 4 February 1849, Geschwend, Württemberg; died in 1926 in Saratov). He had 7 children by his first marriage and 8 by the second.

Wahlberg, Karl Ferdinand Immanuel von

Karl Ferdinand Immanuel Wahlberg, the son of Pastor Karl Friedrich Wahlberg and Anna Dorothea Buck, was born on 18 September 1847 to Katharinenstadt. He died 23 December 1920 in Helsinki (Finland) and is buried in the Orthodox Cemetery in Helsinki.  He married Maria (born 14 October 1852; died 27 June 1923). They had 4 sons: Karl Paul William Wahlberg, Harry Karl Dagvard Wahlberg, Olof Wahlberg, and Erik Wahlberg.

Willigerode, Adalbert Hugo

The Rev. Adalberg Hugo Willigrode, son of pastor Paul Gerhard Adalbert Willigerode & Alice Wellmann, was born 11 October 1883 in Testama, Livland.  He died 17 February 1953 in Feldberg, Mecklenburg (Germany).

He married his first wife on 15 September 1917 in Tarutino in Bessarabia. She was Leonide Jundt (born October 22, 1889 in Bessarabia, died July 13, 1929 in Jamma, Ösel). He remarried on 14 September 1930 in Arensburg to Friederike Both (born March 8, 1890 in Riga).

Quin(d)t (Boisroux)

Andreas Quindt & Charlotte Sophia Löber were married on 9 April 1766 in Roßlau.

Andreas Quindt, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of the Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Andreas Quint [sic] and his wife Sus. Willhelmi. are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Sus. Willhelmi. died en route.

Otto (Boisroux)

An article by Hermann Wäschke records the following going to Russia:

David Otto, a cobbler (Schuhmacher) from Oranienbaum, owner of a house laden with debt in the amount of 17 Thlr. 5 Gr. The sale amounted to 35 Thlr. He left with his wife and five children.
