Belerg*

Jeremias Belerg, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 23 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6.

The 1767 census records that Jeremias Belerg came from the German village of Romrod.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Nickelmann

Friedrich Nickelmann from Paulskaya is recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka101.

Christian Nickelmann, presumed son of Friedrich Nickelmann, and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka082.

Christian Nickelmann and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 141.

Johann Heinrich Nickelmann, son of Friedrich Nickelmann, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 89.

Podt*

Johann Konrad Podt, a farmer, and his wife Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 7 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.

The 1767 census records that Johann Konrad Podt came from the German village of Berghausen.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Roth (Paulskaya)

The baptisms of the following children born to Johann Peter Roth & Marta Elisabeth Nöll are recorded in the parish register of Hopfgarten: (1) Johann Paul, baptized 21 April 1748; (2) Johann Heinrich, baptized 25 March 1750; (3) Johannes, baptized 21 September 1752; (4) Johannes, baptized 10 March 1755; (5) Eleonora, baptized 1 September 1757; and (6) Anna Maria, baptized 3 April 1762.

Scharlipp*

Friedrich Scharlipp, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, [step-]daughter Dorothea [surname not recorded] (age 13), and daughter Elisabeth (age 6-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 46. They had settled there on 7 June 1767.

In 1781, Friedrich Scharlipp and his family moved from Paulskaya to Enders.

Friedrich Scharlipp and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Enders in Household No. En27.

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Scharlipp came from the German village of Schwerin.

Schmat*

Johannes Schmat, a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and daughter Elisabeth (age 15) are recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 74. They had settled there on 23 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Schmat came from the German village of Alsfeld.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Schmidt (Paulskaya)

There are two Schmidt families from the German village of Romrod that settled in the colony of Paulskaya. They arrived together from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair. They are recorded together on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

(1) Just Schmidt, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Dorothea, age 13; Katharina, age 9) arrived in Oranienbaum.

Sonnengrün*

Friedrich Sonnengrün (age 15) and his sister Christina (age 13) are recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 3 along with their stepfather Johann Lenk.

Friedrich Sonnengrün and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Paulskaya in Household No. Pl49.

The 1767 census does not record from where the Sonnengrüns came.

Schnell (Paulskaya)*

Widow Julianna Schnell and her daughter Anna [sic] (age 3½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 May 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Geier.

Widow Schnell married Philipp Wagner. Philipp Wagner, his wife Julianna, and stepdaughter Elisabeth Schnell (age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 27.

The 1767 census records that Julianna Schnell came from the German region of Braunfels.

Schwar(t)z (Paulskaya)*

Orphan Peter Schwartz (age 18) is recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 18 along with the Georg Lochmann family.

The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Schwartz and Lochmann families.
