Litauer*

Andreas Litauer, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Rosine, and daughter Louise (age 9-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Biberstein in 1768.

They had settled in Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767. The 1767 census records that Andreas Litauer came from the German village of Preetz [?].

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Liel*

Konrad Liel, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Maria (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Ernestinendorf in Household No. 8. They had settled in Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767.

The 1767 census records that Konrad Liel came from the German village of Elberrod [Elbenrod?].

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

König (Ernestinendorf)*

Johannes König, a farmer, and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Johannes König and his wife Anna Margaretha are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johannes König and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Ernestinendorf in Household No. 41. They had settled in Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767.

Fink (Ernestinendorf / Meinhard)

There are two Fink families from the German village of Leisel that settled in the Volga German colonies. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) Johannes Fink, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767.  They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Fink came from the German village of Leisel.

Figelnus*

Magdalena Figelnus (age 14) is recorded on the 1767 census of Ernestinendorf in Household No. 25 along with her stepfather Johann Heinrich Kappes.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Felden*

Johann Felden, a farmer, and his wife Anna settled in the Volga German colony of Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4.

The 1767 census records that Johann Felden came from the German village of Gevmenrod [?].

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Eberhardt (Ernestinendorf)*

Orphan Ludwig Eberhardt (age 9) is recorded on the 1767 census of Ernestinendorf in Household No. 22 along with the Johann Arnhold family.

The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Arnhold and Eberhardt families.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Eberhardt family among the Volga German colonies.
