Johann von Peter was born in approximately 1795 in Holland. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Stahl am Tarlyk. He is recorded on the 1834 Census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 104 along with a note that he had died there in 1830.

Pawlikowski

Johann Pawlikowski was born in approximately 1787. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt.

He is recorded on the 1834 Census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 218 and on the 1850 Census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 291 along with a note that he had died there in 1838.

Johannes Potwilowski (age 12) is recorded on the 1834 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 18.

Oduen

Jean (Jakob) Oduen was born in approximately 1788, probably in France. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Graf.

The parish register of Graf records the marriage of Jakob Oduen from France to Margaretha Haas from Graf on 23 November 1815.

He is recorded on the 1834 census of Graf in Household No. 50, on the 1850 census of Graf in Household No. 62, and on the 1857 census of Graf in Household No. 71.

Michaelis (Holstein)

Heinrich Michaelis, son of Ludwig Michaelis, was born in approximately 1791 in the German region of Westfalen. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians.

He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Holstein.

He is recorded on the Holstein marriage register marrying 27 February 1817 Maria Elisabeth Spielmann, daughter of Konrad Spielmann of Stephan.

Müller (Katharinenstadt-1)

Johann Müller was born in approximately 1772 in the German region of Hannover. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt. He is recorded on the 1834 Census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 343 with a note that he had moved to the colony of Urbach in 1828. He is not recorded on the 1850 Census of Urbach, so must have died there before 1834.

Meier (Grimm-2)

Johann Maier was born in approximately 1788. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Grimm. He is recorded on the 1834 Census of Grimm in Household No. 55 and on the 1857 Census of Grimm in Household No. 58 along with a note that he had died there in 1857.

Maurer (Mariental-2)

Johannes Maurer was born in approximately 1792 in the Alsace region. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental.

Johannes Mauer [sic] from Saarbrucken, Germany, married on 15 September 1814 in Mariental to Katharina Kohlbech.

Lohmüller*

Christian Lohmüller was born in the Netherlands and served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya. His widow Louisa is recorded on the 1850 Census of Boisroux in Household No. 73 indicating that Christian must have died before 1834.

There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Lehmann (Stahl am Karaman)

Heinrich Lehmann was born in approximately 1791 in the German region of Westfalen. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Schwed. He is recorded on the 1834 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 77. He is recorded on the 1850 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 109 with a note that he died there in 1848.

Lang (Mariental)

Mattias Lang was born in approximately 1784. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental. He is recorded there on the 1834 Census of Mariental  in Household No. 190 and on the 1850 Census of Mariental in Household No. 227 along with a note that he died there in 1850.
