History
Rozhdestvenka (after 2001: Kabanbay Batyr) was founded in 1895 by Volga Germans and Germans from the North Caucasus.
This village was also known by its German name of Friedensfeld.

Volga German Congregations
The initial inhabitants of Friedensfeld were Lutheran by faith practice. The congregation there was affiliated with the Omsk Region.
There was a Bethaus (prayer house) in the village that served as both a building for religious services on the weekend and a school during the week.
